All participants aiming to provide a presentation (including all plenary lectures, invited lectures, contributed talks, ERC StG candidate talks, invited talks for yECMM, contributed talks for yECMM, and posters) should submit the abstract prepared using the template provided below. This includes all types of presentations of the main ECMM2024 event (plenary lecture, invited lecture, contributed talk, ERC candidate talk, poster) as well as the Young ECMM2024 pre-conference (invited talk yECMM, contributed talk yECMM; in the latter case, the identical abstract is valid for the poster presentation during the main event). Besides the plenary and invited speakers, the selection of a contribution proposed by the potential participant will be done during the registration, so in this section, you simply prepare and submit an abstract using the identical template independently of the type of presentation. After the evaluation, the ECMM2024 scientific committee will decide on the acceptance of a proposed type of presentation or will propose an alternative one. The participant will be informed of this decision by email no later than May 12, 2024.
IMPORTANT: A person who wishes to provide an ERC StG candidate talk has to be eligible for the 2025 edition of an ERC Starting Grant (see the ERC website for details). To prove your eligibility, please submit your CV together with the abstract. Based on eligibility to submit the proposal for ERC StG 2025 and the research achievements indicated in the provided CV, the ECMM2024 scientific committee will decide on the acceptance of a participant for an ERC StG candidate talk or will propose the alternative type of presentation for ECMM2024. The participant will be informed of this decision by email no later than May 12, 2024.
All abstracts should be written in English. Please strictly follow the provided abstract template following the one-page limit. Please send the abstract as a Word file (pdf files will not be accepted) by email to ecmm2024@uj.edu.pl by April 26, 2024 (for posters by May 5, 2024). Please note that the abstract submission period will open on January 15, 2024. Then, the gathering of abstracts and sending the email confirmations of receiving the abstract will start to operate.
